Does 6-8hrs of workout a week have to all be upper body?

Hi I’m just starting to work out seriously but people say each week 6-8 hrs of workout is typical. I was wondering if all 6-8hrs have to be working out a certain muscle group (like just your upper body) or if those 6-8hrs is a mixture of leg, ab, bicep, traps, pretty much everything. Thanks »
