How to flatten my abs? What foods, or exercises, or tips?

How to flatten my abs? What foods, or exercises, or tips? My abs are 28 inch and I am 12. It is kinda big but I am fit and the normal weight for my age but it’s just my abs that stick out. I have been doing this exercise plan for 2 weeks and was 31 inch but lost 4inches. I want to lose the inches faster though and sometimes I forget to do the exercises.

Diet and exercise tips for 130 to 110 in 4 weeks?

I’m just now about 130 pounds, 5 foot 2.75 inches, and 17. I am exercising a little bit, to get the easy stuff off. But the significant weight loss is going to take considerable sweat. I like to run and do yoga; I love to eat (duh ;) ) Any tips for great yoga poses for weight loss? How to lose a considerable amount of belly fat relatively quickly? Where to buy good running shoes? Good sports bras for running? Basically, I am asking you to recommend things I can implement to my changing lifestyle. Thanks very much; will get ten points to a best answer soon!

How does my diet plan sound, will I lose weight?

I weigh 125 – 135 lbs at 5’2″. My measurements are like 37B-30-39 or something close to that. Body fat percentage is 27% I think. I wanna lose some inches, lower my fat percentage and lose 15 – 20 lbs. My goal date is August 1st, that’s about two and a half months to do it.

In the past, I had done this diet called “the rotation diet – here is a link to the diet plan: http://www.chasefreedom.com/rotationdiet… – and it work for me. I lost 5 lbs in a matter of two weeks tops, and it stayed off. I followed that plan and exercised for about….maybe 25 minutes a day and I lost weight, and kept it off.

I plan on starting this tomorrow, and following it for three weeks, as well as doing my normal workout plan. On my week off, this is how I’ll be eating:

My diet:

Breakfast: One egg with parmesan cheese and mustard, one piece of fruit and a glass of green tea

Since I eat breakfast at around 6, my next meal will be at 8….so my snack at 8:
A serving of almonds

Another little something at 10: A yoplait light yogurt

Lunch: A sandwich on a whole wheat bagel with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a few strawberries or grapes with it and more green tea

Around 12:30 or 1: One carrot

After my first workout: Some more strawberries

Dinner: A salad with an apple or a fruit salad with another yogurt and more green tea

And if I need something else later in the day, it will be fruits or vegetables. I also intend on drinking at least 3 liters of water a day

And this is the workout I’ll be doing:

After school is 45 minutes of cardio. I do some bike and some treadmill. I’m gonna mix it up some and really push myself.

And then after dinner I do a pilate routine, with about 5 different piliate exercises for abs, 100 walking lunges, 30 plie squats, 60 leg twists in a plank pose and a thigh exercise I found on youtube.

And then after that week off, following my diet plan above, I will do the rotation diet for another two weeks, and then quit that and just eat like my diet plan above says without any rotation diet.

How does that sound? It may be a little unhealthy, but will I lose weight and by August 1st?

people say it’s easier to lose weight when your young, then why can’t my friend lose any weight? 10 POINTS!!!!?

she is 13, 5’2 or 62 inches
weights 105, and eats about 1000-1500 calories a day, or less and workouts everyother day?
has been doing this for the last few weeks, she has seen no improvement or weight loss
WHY IS THIS? HOW CAN SHE DO THIS
her workout every other day is:
30-40 minutes cardio
- 10 minutes cross ramp, highest incline
- 10 minutes bike
- 10 minutes ellyptical or stairmaster
-5 or ten mintues for 20 pound weights
- 5 or ten minutes on ab machine

and since she works out every day, on the days she doesnt workout, should she run on the treadmill for 15 mintues and burn 600 calories?

if she does all this can she be 95 pounds, she really needs to be this weight or else she’ll stay this height and be fat when she grows up, please dont say how she doesnt need to lose weight, just tell us how PLEASE

if she does this how long till she see’s results and how long till she acieves her goal (90-95 pounds)

What Am I Doing Wrong? What Can I do to Improve?

I am 21 years old. I am five foot, two inches and weigh about 115. I’ve been 110 for the past two years or so without any major changes. In the past (up until about three weeks ago) I ate TERRIBLY. I ate fast food at least a couple times a week and rarely exercised. I also sit at a desk from 730 to 430 Mondays through Fridays. I still was able to maintain a light weight of 110.

I am now trying to lose five pounds to be back where I was and now also and now also become leaner and more toned over all physically. I have been working out for three weeks and have yet to lose a single pound, however I am unsure if I am seeing other results muscularly.

I usually work out like this: I warm up on the elliptical for ten minutes and then run for a good 30 minutes at five mph. (keep in mind im pretty out of shape) and this past week I have added weight training and toning exercises to my workout routine including lunges, squats, ab workouts and free weights. I focus on one body group (legs or upper body) and try to do three sets of fifteen reps on each machine with rest in between each set.

My diet has been cleaned up a lot too. Breakfast is usually two hardboiled eggs and a fiber one yogurt. A couple hours later I either have a handful of almonds or a piece of fruit and a low moisture part skim string cheese or something else light. I then have brown rice and chicken or salmon for lunch and different types of things for dinner. I am trying to only allow myself to indulge in fast food and junk on the weekend so I have five straight days of eating clean.

My metabolism is fast, so I am not really sure why nothing has changed. Any suggestions or ideas that I can try?
eta: i’m not trying to lose weight. I’m trying to fit into the pants I already own and become toned instead of thin with flab hanging off. I don’t want my tummy and thighs to jiggle.

With proper diet and exercising everyday, how many inches of bellyfat will you lose from your waist in 3-4wks?

I’ve been working out for about 2 months now but still have belly fat since i haven’t been doing cardio, only ab workouts such as crunches. I just recently started doing cardio. I have a 27 inch waistline i’d like to go to about 25 inches. Another thing is, my lower abs are flabbier than my upper abs. In the lower part of my abs i’m 29 inches. Is it possible to lose the belly fat to my desired waistline in 3-4 weeks with keeping up my diet and my exercise? I’d like to be 25 inches on my upper and lower abs. thanks in advance
