I intend on doing a water fast. For weight-loss, and for cleansing. I currently weigh 160lbs and I am about 5 foot 1 inches.
I know anyone who answers may be just trying to help- I am really just not interested in people telling me this is a bad idea.
I have heard about people doing this, AND NOT DIENG. So I doubt i will die.
What are the signs that I need to stop.. I doubt that just hunger pains and dizzyness is anything I should use as cause to stop.
Also- Is “ketosis” bad? I have read some that say ketosis will kickstart weightloss- and burn fat, but what does it do to the kidneys?
I still intend on doing this no matter what anybody here says regarding those questions-
How much weight can I lose in 20-30 days? I know there is the potential in gaining it all back, which brings me to my last question. How do you break a water fast?!

My mom did te water fasting, she only did it for 3 days. The most you SHOULD only go without food just water is a week. My mom lost 4 pounds in 3 days, so maybe 10ish pounds in a week? But the success to losing weight is eating less, and eating healthier. Good luck!

How long after hitting ketosis will I begin to lose weight?
I used to be a carb hog! Now I’m at day 2 on Atkins and tested pos. for ketosis this evening and I am at a dark purple. When should the weight start coming off? Is this normal (to have so much ketones) for only 2nd day? I’ve had the symptoms too, weakness, tired, nausea etc. ..Also I know all about the “bad affects” of ketosis and low carb diets, so I don’t need to hear it again.
