Ok, so I am a fourteen year old girl. I do not have a flat stomach, but I’m not wicked fat. The doctor says I am “average” but I am not too happy with that. The thing I dont get is that I have friends who are soo skinny but eat a pile of junk and dont gain weight. For example my friend walks to a convenience store every day and has 18 candy wrappers and 5 chip bag wrappers in her pockets…from a total of two days..and she is uber-skinny! I have another friend who eats like 20 packs of sour patch kids for lunch…..hour glass figure..these girls claim they have a “high metabolism…” well i dont unfortunately. It’s because of my hunger. After school I will eat like a bunch of stuff and I need to learn how to control my hunger (no pills though)….What healthy foods should I eat? Also, I eat out wayyy too much! My grandpa is lonely so i go out to eat with him…..ok this may be bad….but like 5 times a week at this sports bar/pub place…well actually it’s a tavern. ALL the food is fried! Like they have burgers, and then like those big entrees (but i cant eat all that) and then the seafood…i thought fish would be good for me so i ordered haddock nuggets…fried 8/ they have pasta…ehh its not that good…and the salads are too bland! All the appetizers are like ya know unhealthy and fried, like potato skins, mozzarella sticks, ect; so what should i order instead?
And how do I convince myself to eat like cookies only once in a while as a ‘treat’? i always eat the junk and then regret it later and tell myself i will stop and never do…help please!

Eat foods that dont have many calories but make you full for at least an hour.
Like fruits and veggies are excellent.
And soup! Dont eat too much carbs though! Just a small portion of pasta is enoguh if u really like it

Question by Derek: Im a african american male with a big butt?
I’m mostly fit all around I have a flat stomach, a little bit of love handles, and I barly have man boob. I’m 155 lbs with 21% body fat.
I guess the real question is how can I lose my butt fat?
And I’ve heard of girls finding men with big butts attractive, is this true?

personal i like a flat butt oh and you just loose more weight but if its a natural big butt your screwed lol

Ab workout routine for girls?

Hey! I really want to get a flat stomach, and as fast as i can! Im 14 and a girl. I need a routine and schedule type of thing..anyone know one i can use? It has to be free and something i can do at home..none of that fancy equipment or weights even though i know those help!

How to get ‘bikini ready’ by June?

Well June 1st is my B-Day And I’ll be 16 and I’d like to take my girls to the beach, and I haven’t played any sports this year, so I let myself go a little bit.
I’m 5’0 and I weight like 123-125. Most people say I don’t look my weight, but I know that’s because I dress for my size correctly. I have a hourglass body and i am thick-boned with hips and muscle in some areas so I would really like to learn how to tone up for my body.
At home I have a resistance cord, an ab belt, a jump rope, a mini treadmile, and a mini trampoline, so I think I should start using those to my advantage. And I also have a mini plyometrix box my dad made.
My target area that has the most issues is my stomach, it gets a lot of fat on the lower part. But I have abs under that dont seem to show through. But when I flex it feels hard but I know there’s fat over there.
What are some workouts I can do and how often?

Are abs worth the effort?

OK-I understand these kinds of questions bug you guys but it has been itching away at me. I know that many girls think that a guy with rock hard abs is hot. I workout and eat right to try and obtain a six-pack on my own. But lately I feel as if it is pointless. Should I continue on my six-pack conquest in hope that a few girls might compliment it, or should i just eat whatever the hell I want and not care about what my gut looks like?

What can I do about my stomach?

My liimbs are incredibly skinny. ALmost like sticks. So skinny sometimes people accuse me of being anorexic. But my stomach sticks out like you would not believe! Especially after I eat. I always exercise. I do about 300 crunches each night. I jumprope for hours at a time. And I eat very healthy. No matter how hard I try to lose the stomach it still pokes out! I try doing exercises that target my lower abs but nothing seems to work! In fact after I do them it seems to poke out more. I know I can suck it in, but it doesn’t feel to good squeezing your guts in all day. I always forget too. :( I want a flat stomach like all the girls at my school. Im like the only one with a bulging stomach. Looks like im pregnant or something. :( So any idea on what I can do? How to get rid of it? I hate it so much! BTW im 13.

How do some girls have flat stomachs but big boobs and big butt?

and I know they didn’t get plastic surgery, so how do they get a flat tummy without losing their curves? because whenever I lose pounds I lose my curves too, so in order for me to have curves I have to have a bit on my stomach. How can I get a flat tummy without losing my curves?

What do you think…is it true that ANYONE can have defined, flat abs?

They say women’s bodies come in all different shapes and sizes. Well, some girls are born with bodies that naturally seem perfect, no matter what they eat or how often (or not often) the work out. While others are born with bodies that remain overweight from childhood, past the adolescent ages, through adulthood. And then there are people who aren’t necessarily “fat” and are the average weight for their age and height, but are still soft. They look fine in most clothing but sometimes need to take care that they buy looser fitting tops, or their thyes and stomach jiggle ever so slightly when they are wearing bathing suits.

For example, i am a softball player and cheerleader. A girl on my cheer team drinks and eats whatever she wants, always drinks and eats fast food on the weekends, and hardly ever works out (let’s be honest…high school cheerleading workouts at my school are not exactly tough) but has always been and still remains absolutely tiny, with perfectly proportioned features.
5′ 4″ and 100 lbs

A girl i’ve played softball with for years has always stayed active, but doesn’t eat the best, and is farr overweight, always has been.
5′ 6″ 180ish lbs

And I was always relatively small, but as i grew up and went through puberty i became the third type. I am 5′ 4ish” and between 115 and 120 lbs. I work out almost every day and have become increasingly concious of what i eat compared to how active I’ve been day by day. Yet i still have some jiggle, and almost an inch or two of fat around my midsection.

My friend has a petite body figure–5′ 3″ and used to be the most active out of anyone. When she she was diagnosed with Anorexia, she ran 5-8 miles a day, with weights/circuit training/etc. A total of 3 hours or working out a day. Plus the fact that she hardly ate anything at all. Even when she was 90 lbs and had hardly any fat on her body, she still did not have flat or defined abs–and trust me, she worked more on her abs than on anything else. More than anywhere else, she still had a LITTLE bump of fat on her lower stomach…with her strict dieting i feel like theoretically that should not have been the case at all.

So what do you think? Is it simply the sad truth that some body types simply can’t obtain those flat, “six pack” abs, the perfect body, while others naturally have the luxery of such a tight body? I’m just curious because I’m freakishly obsessed with fitness and body type, ha.

Am I overweight. If so, diet and exercise tips please?

im 14 years old, in 8th grade, and i seem a bit bigger than me peers. m 5 feet tall and 147 pounds. my stomach is bigger than id like it to be, and i have excess fat on my arms and legs as well. i used to be obese when i was 11 because i went through puberty early, but i lost all that weight the next year and was then 92 pounds which was a healthy weight. i started gaining weight rapidly this year though. at the start of 8th grade i was 105 pounds which was healthy, but in danger of being overweight i think, so im guessing i am a little too fat right now. i really feel bigger than i should be, and i get out of breath more easily than my friends in p.e., and walking around the school is harder for me than skinnier girls. id like to once again be slim. no supplements though please! i want to lose weight the right way :)
**NOTE: look, i dont want to lose weight if i am healthy. so first of all… am i overweight? second (if i am) DIET & EXERCISE tips please! none of this supplement nonsense my mom said “no way” to them.

Helpful tips for losing weight with a friend? food, exercise, motivation?

me and my friend are going to start a healthy diet over the summer when we don’t have school. we just don’t know what that diet will be. any diets that have worked for you please share, explain, or add website. specific plans are the best for me with a variety of choice.

i have trouble with motivation, sticking to it, and i am a vegetarian. my friend is not. but i eat a lot of carbs and moderate exercise. i do not have a variety of fruit but i do eat them. tips with that please.

exercise is a problem. we will start biking every day. we aren’t sure how far or how long we should. and we need other exercise tips. its hard to stick to routines but we can if it works. prefer fun exercises and other stuff.

and to mention some things about our selves if it matters. Both girls Caucasian age 14. live in urban/rural area. i am a vegetarian and my friend is not. i have my weight evenly distributed. most problem areas in legs and stomach. my friend has problems in her arms and stomach. we also have chubby face/neck if there are exercises for that.
