What’s the quickest way to lose weight and get toned?
I don’t want abs or anything coz I reckon that looks gross on girls, but I really want to lose weight and tone my stomach, legs, bum and my arms. I need to know a quick and easy way to do this. Also- diet that’s easy to stick to?
I mean actual exercises.


Vegetables and exercise.
Anytime anyone tries a “fast” diet plan (say for a special occasion), as soon as that occasion is over, the weight goes right back on.
How soon do you need to lose the weight, and how much?
As far as the diet that’s easiest to ‘stick to’. . . . that depends on your own will power.
Exercise daily, at least 30 minutes a day; very low fat diet, high protein, medium carbs, and lots of water (8-10 full glasses a day). Fresh veggies and fruit, no potatoes, only 100% whole wheat bread.
The healthiest plan is to lose approximately 2 pounds per week. You need to change your eating habits and you won’t do that on a crash diet plan.
A friend of mine has lost lots of weight recently. She’s looking amazing & maintaining it.
She said (1) Exercise daily (even if just a short walk)
(2) Eat lots of vegetables.
(3) When you get that ‘hungry’ feeling even after you’ve had a big meal, it means you’re dehydrated so drink lots of water to help the cravings past.
(4) Eat a SMALL snack meal every 4 hours. (If you starve yourself over hours or days, your whole metabolism slows right down. Then it finds it hard to start up and digest your food at good speed when you suddenly eat again). So eat every 4 hours to keep you churning regularly through it.
(5) Make no food a forbidden food. When you do that, you begin to crave the forbidden food. If your favourite thing is e.g Chocolate. Don’t ban it. Tell yourself you can have to once a week or something. That will help take the cravings for it away, provided you’re also drinking lots of water.
(6) It’s a well known fact that ‘Dieting’ can make people fat just their metabolism is forced to slow right down then is forced to start up suddenly and can’t cope with what it’s got to churn through so suddenly.
(7) If you ever really find it hard to eat food at least eat banana for the potassium. (Another friend of who recovered from her anorexia told me that) And she’s still tiny. She also use the above advice and is looking thin but lots healthier and says she had more energy. So the above advice seems to work for people who are very over wieght and those who are not but obsessed with it.
(8) Sit ups and rowing machine also help
Cabbage soup in combination with long, long, long walks.
Diet and Exercise is the only good way to loose weight and to get toned up.
Start an exercise schedule of 30 minutes each morning – floor exercises such as sit up, leg lifts, crunches, jumping jacks or what ever you prefer. Do not miss this schedule and after one week start an afternoon or evening exercise such as a very brisk 30 minute walk, after the second week add to your exercises and to your walks..
Diet – Eat a balance diet including lean protein, vegetables, fruit, low fat dairy, whole grain bread or cereal, and allow for an afternoon snack. Control the portions by drinking a large glass of water before each meal. Eliminate all junk food and soda
The best thing is to run/jog at least every two days. Reduce the amount of carbs you eat (pasta, rice, bread, sugar) and replace them with fruits and vegetables. Sugar free lemonade will help you a lot. Drinks lots of water and green tea is pretty good too! It really depends on your diet, the exercise and on how strict you are. But if you do this you’ll start seeing the results in a few weeks. Also, once you start, keep with this plan EVERYDAY if you really wanna go somewhere!
