How do you lose weight without gaining muscle?

i’d really like to have a flat stomach. Whats some things i could do to lose weight but not gain muscle weight?

    There aren’t any. Exercise builds muscle, which weighs more than fat. Long distance running or biking would be your best bet though.

    Eat healthy and plenty of cardio.

    Cardio cardio cardio.

    Running, swimming, tennis,. whatever it is. You will not bulk up,. just get tone and lean.

    Eat fish. Recent research has found that omega-3s help to reduce belly fat. Walk 45 minutes a day. The cardio will help you shed pounds and not gain muscle. Drink 8 glasses of cold water a day. Your body burns calories as it heats the water up. Good luck to you.

    Cardiovascular, like jogging, skipping, swimming, bike riding etc etc. You want more endurance exercises instead of weight training where you can only do a little bit before failure.

    If you exercise every day, your muscles don’t have time to fully heal, so you don’t build muscle mass. So my question to you is- are you ready to commit to 365 days of exercise a year?
