How Do I Lose Weight When I Am Addicted To Food?

I have tried to go on a diet and excercise to lose weight every time. Each time i feel energized and it works for maybe a day or two, but then I get hungry and just go on an eating rampage, and eat just about everything in sight haha. If anybody had some tips where I could lose weight, and not be addicted to eating at the same time, it would help.
