Are you supposed to lose weight right after exercising?
I’ve been jogging 20 minutes and doing 50 crunches per day, for two days so far. I consume 1200 calories throughout the whole day. All the food I eat are healthy. Somehow, I don’t see myself losing weight. Are you supposed to lose weight right away on the first few days?

No because you are gaining muscle and muscle weighs much more than fat so if you weigh yourself too soon the scale wont say any less, probably 1 or 2 pounds more. Wait about a week to take a serious weigh in.
No it takes time, if you do its only water weight, Slow and steady wins the race
Crunches do absolutely nothing for weight loss, and very little for muscle tone. Maybe jogging more and adding some more varying exercises will help.
Remember than there are 3500 calories in a pound, so it doesn’t seem like you’ve done enough to lose that much
20 minutes of jogging may not be enough; increase it to at least 30. Here’s an advice:
In losing weight its the calorie count that matters most; you lose weight by burning off more calories than what you consume or, consume less than what you expend. Here’s an advice:
Eat a healthy breakfast and don’t skip it. Eating a healthy breakfast would jump-start your day, give you energy and can help you eat in moderation at lunch and dinner. A high-fiber(like oatmeal), low-fat breakfast may make a major contribution to a total reduced food intake for the day.
Losing weight is simply a matter of limiting calories consumed and burning off more calories with exercise and daily activities. To lose weight, it helps to know how many calories you are consuming in a day. So you would know how to limit your food intake or how much you need to burn.

Stop eating dairy , eat lots of fresh fruits and vegtables , eat fish and chicken grilled or baked instead of fried , whole grains , lentils , legumes , avoid sugar, drink lots of water or flavored bottled water instead of soda / pop… Dont eat anything after 7 pm excercise at least three times a week for at least an hour , you probabley want to do cardio for fat burn …ex… elyptical, treadmill… walking will help but its not gonna get the pounds off quickly but its a good start if you havent worked out before…
If there is a Curves workout facility in your area it may be something to consider. All of the machines are hydraulic and you get a really good workout in 30 minutes, and the price is pretty reasonable. You can also pump up plain water with some of the single drink straws that you can get at any store. Most of them are just 10 calories. I used to workout and also work for a Curves so that is where my suggestion came from.
