will cutting calories help me get a 6 pack?
i workout 30 minutes every other day i lift weights and do ab workouts im 17 511 my arms are big but i have a little fat around the stomach will cutting calories make me lose this fat? i look online at a calorie calculator (idk if its correct or not) it said for fat loss to eat 2077 calories a day and for extreme fat loss to eat 1558 so my question is will this help me get a 6 pack?

Yes, you should limit your calories if you want a 6 pack. there is fat in the way of them showing, so you need to loose fat. If you keep eating a lot, you will not lose fat. You should eat the 1600 recommended by that calculator.
Well by cutting calories do you mean a diet? If so, obviously it will lose that fat but dont starve yourself just eat less and more healthy. To lose this fat just do at least 20 minutes of hard running and cardio 2-3 times a week and WATCH WHAT YOU EAT!!!!! That is most important if you losee 150 calories in your cardio workout and eat 3 oreos you just gained 180 calories you did absolutely nothing. Take that into consideration and dont go into extremes unless your cutting weight for a sport such as wrestling as I take part in. Its not hard if you have just a little fat 5-8 pounds will lose it and that is nothing.
if you cut your calories too fast muscle will come off along with the fat AND that goes for intensive cardio as well, cut slowly with moderate cardio and feed the muscle with 6-8 small com carbs/with protein throughout the day, also to preserve mass you MUST keep the intensity high as performing high reps with low weights gives the body NO reason to hang on to them…
