What can I do? abdominal workout not working! UGH!!?
I am 5″7 and on any given day, I range from 117 lbs to 121 lbs.
I admit, I am skinny. My arms and legs are sticks but I have some stubborn lower tummy tub. It’s not very much at all, just enough to annoy the hell out me from time to time.
I workout EVERY morning with stretches then crunches, reverse sit ups and then the bicycle workout (crunches where you bring your left elbow to your right knee and visa versa) doing each set 100 times. my upper tummy is gaining muscle and is (for the most part) flat. my lower tummy…nothing. I do feel muscle behind the fat but the fat wont go away. What should I do? How do I get rid of it? Help!


Yeah because Crunches dont make you loose fat. No such thing as spot reduction.
All Crunches do are Strengthen, Tone and Build your abs.
Cardio is the only way to burn that fat.
Crunches do not burn enough calories to melt the fat away from the abdominal area. You should add a cardio routine 3 times a week to burn the fat.
Diet and Cardio to burn off the stubborn fat is the only way to loose that. Up your protein and lower carbs and eat (small meals) every couple hours instead of bigger meals a couple times a day to up your metabolism. Do 30-60 minutes of cardio 3-5 times per week to burn fat and you should see those abs on a few weeks.
Keep in mind…diet is key..just doing the crunches will only strengthen the muscle under to layer of fat.
