Weight Gain and Muscles and Stuff.?
OK so every year my weight gaining patern is I gain weight during the winter and loose weight during the summer. This winter my weight gain has been pretty dramatic. I gained 20 pounds (lower 140′s to 161) since the begining of the school year. Now last year i was a pretty lean kid and people used to say I really skinny, but now im not fat but Im pretty sure being inactive the whole winter and gaining 20 pounds isnt the best thing i could do for my body. I was wondering is it good that i gained a little weight because when i work out during the summer I’d asumme muscles look better on regular sized people than skinny people.
P.S. My workout plan was to run and stuff for a majority of the summer and do a bit of weight training and abdominal stuff


You should weight train while you are gaining weight. More of it would go towards muscle, and a lot less towards fat. It is far easier to deal with it at this point, then try to lose the fat later.
