Today when I was exercising…?
So today when I was doing my usual exercise routine, I normally jog/run 4 miles daily and do a cardio-ab circuit video.. I got through the video and 2 miles and my legs started to get really sore to the point where I had to stop. How can I make up those 2 miles in other easier ways? I’m going to a fair tonight… so I’ll be doing a lot of walking. Or should I run 2 extra tomorrow? I am trying to lose about 5-8 pounds.


just run tomorrow, i wouldnt worry about making up for it, if your legs hurt that bad dont strain yourself or you will pull a muscle and then you wont be able to run for a while
Don’t run any extra tomorrow. You should always stop exercising if you’re in pain, and should never push yourself to that point.
You’ll walk that plus some tonight at the fair, probably. Don’t worry about it, and don’t push yourself too hard.
Yoga/Palates is good….but not sure if that would completely make up for the two miles..
well if you are doing this everyday without giving yourself a break i say let those two extra miles go because you can really hurt yourself that way and giving yourself a break can help your muscles become stronger. if you want maybe do some running at the fair but really walking is slower and you can get more exercising out of it because it takes you longer and you are using muscles

this has happend to me, your muslces just had enought and need time to recover
if you do more tomarrow you will have damage muscles and be in worse condition
Since you’re going to be doing a lot of walking tonight, just let it go at that. If you still feel guilty about it tomorrow, try to to go longer then. Another easier way to make it up may be on an elliptical machine; not so much impact. Enjoy the fair!!

and make sure ur diet can supplement your muscles
if its a cramp get a banana
well, you should have one day a week that you dont work out so dont worry. plus if you want to lose weight, do that and eat special k
i would leave and have fun at the fair tonight. your body needs time to rest. maybe if you wake up tomorrow and feel like you still missed out run an extra mile but i wouldn’t push yourself too much. if you had a pain come up today you don’t want it to worsen tomorrow by over doing it. good luck.
First, how long have you been exercising consistently?
Sounds like you overloaded your legs with lactic acid, too fast, too soon, with no warm up.
Start your run with walking the first half mile, and progressively speed up.
Run before your cardio video.
Allways finish.. just try to walk the next two miles if that ever happens again.
Personally, i think you shouldn’t do 2 extra miles because when a certain part of your body has been moved alot or have been exercised alot it begins to feel sore.
The reason it begans to feel sore is because your looseing weight and/or burning fat.
i guess keep running
