Tips about weight loss and diet?
My goal is to lose about 15-20 pounds by the end of this summer. I know it is healthy to loose no more than 2 lbs a week. I started working out for the past 4 days, and burn approx 1,000 calories at the gym per day, along with other exercises. I also cut down completely on fast food (which I go to only at the most, once a week) and have incorporated fruits and veggies into my diet. I started drinking a lot more water. I do the elipitical for an half hour, then the stair climber for 20 minutes, I do ab crunches several times throughout my workout, the bicycle for 20 minutes, and then the elipitical for 30 minutes. Is there something I should change in my workout? Also what are some aerobic exercises that are easy to do? Finally what are foods that will help me loose weight. Should I stay away from pasta, I have heard contradicting theories on pasta and carbs, so I’m not sure if pasta contributes to weight gain or not.

Just make sure you drink a lot of water.
some negative calorie foods are
celery
grapefruit
watermelon
water with lemon
green apples
Pasta contributes to weight gain but if you do like pasta you could start using multi-grain pasta that has a lot of fiber.
To help you lose weight make sure you eat a lot of food that has fiber in it like prunes, nuts and veggie.
Good Luck.
