Slimming fitness routine/workout?
In a little over a month, I’ll be competing in the Miss Maryland Teen pageant. I’m 17 and I’m about 5’2 and 115 lbs. I’m not overweight, have a fairly flat stomach, and so I’m not here necessarily to lose weight. I am interested, however, in toning and slimming some parts of my body, particularly my butt, my thighs, and my lower abdomen. I want to look fit and healthy for the pageant, and I’m not really interested in bulking up. I’m looking for any suggestions on work-outs or routines that I can do to accomplish my goal? Any suggestions or answers are greatly appreciated!

Start with your diet. Diet isn’t even the right word really, it should be what we all eat, but anyway, try eating all natural foods. As in lean meats (chicken, turkey, fish) lots of dark/bright veggies and fruits. Try for a goal of 90oz of water a day. I know that sounds like a lot, but water alone can do wonders. If you want a workout always try for a complete body workout not just certain areas because those certain areas need support from the other areas you aren’t working. Do lunges and squats; crunches and push ups on a work out ball. When you do these don’t do them in reps and sets do them until you cant do them anymore. Do that every-other day so your muscles have a rest in between. Change your routine every week or every other week. Find routines online, usually health magazine sites have workouts you can look at.
