Is my fitness goal possible? (read description)?
I am 16 years old and am 5″8. i weigh 145 pounds. My goal is to get six pack abs (and also toned all around) in 12 weeks (June-August). ASSUMING I EAT HEALTHY, let me know if i could accomplish my goal through this program:
SUNDAY: rest
MONDAY:
run 5-6 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises (3 times / day)
TUESDAY:
run 3 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises (3 times / day) / 2 hours of Muay Thai class
WEDNESDAY:
run 5-6 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises ( 3 times / day)
THURSDAY:
run 3 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises (3 times / day) / 2 hours of Muay Thai class
FRIDAY:
run 5-6 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises ( 3 times / day)
SATURDAY:
bike 15 miles / 20 minutes of ab exercises (3 times / day)
i would also workout quads/calves/biceps/triceps/shoulders/ ect… throughout the process. im mainly focussing on the abdominal region for now…

Hi Tim,
Besides telling you to take care not to overtrain, I would say that you might want to only work on your abs every other day. Muscles need to rest, as it is during the resting phrase that they actually rebuild, and your abs are not an exception.
