How often should I change my workout routine for great results?
I was thinking of revamping my workouts every two weeks. Is that too soon? I know you have to keep the body challenged so you don’t plateau.
For example, for almost two weeks now I’m strictly doing:
biking 3x a week
walking 3x a week
ab workout 3x a week
yoga/or just making sure I have a good stretch session 3x a week
upper body work w/ weights 2x a week
Then in my next two weeks I was thinking of these workouts while keeping certain things consistant:
biking 3x a week
walking 3x a week
lower body work w/ weights 1x a week
yoga/stretching 3x a week
full body work 1x a week
upper body work w/ weights 1x a week
And, maybe the following two weeks, I’d focus more on Pilates, stretching and cardio.
All this with having one or two rest days a week of course.

once every 6 months
or when your getting no results.
It looks like you have good variety and that is all that matters, if you reach a plateau try mixing up the order, intensity and length of time on each activity
2 weeks might be too quick and it might be difficult to keep it up after some time. You might get tired. I’ve heard and read that it is usually about 6 to 8 weeks. The gym I belong to seems to change the classes’s routines about every quarter.
It sounds like you’ve got it covered tbh
Remember to build up the amount that you’re doing, for example, if you’re unning 3 miles, either increase how far you run, how fast you run or the slope you’re running on as your body becomes used to the exercise and you lost the effects.
You should change you workouts every six weeks because your body get used to it and won’t get the same benefit.
when your work out routine starts to feel easy then you should change it
