Crooked Uneven Unpleasant Looking Abdominal Muscles.!?

I’d love to put a picture of my abs but i don really wanna go thru the process of taking a pic, uploading etc.
Well i’m 17+ .. i am quite skinny, BMI=19.5 ..
my abs are physically visible ( perhaps coz i’m skinny) I run alot…
i dont do abs workout that much at all.. only a time or 2 during fitness tests, i would try to give my best shot and kinda overwork my abs… that would result in a really sore bad backache the next few days =X.

well, now that i have this really bad looking UNEVEN and UNPROPORTIONATED-LOOKING abs, how do i fix it back?

ppl say it’s genetics but i’m quite reluctant to believe cause coz i’ve notice almost 95% of guys i know of faces this same problem as me- CROOKED ABS.

i’m quite inclined to believe that is has something to do with my exercise regime and the target muscle group thingy during a particular exercise. i did a brief research and some sites stated that it could be coz of improper training… well beats me! i have no idea whats wrong.. Please help.=)

A real girl will not care so much that your ab muscles are “crooked” … she will be happy that you even have any, and that you’re not packin’ a fat gut.

Chill … all is at peace with the universe.

If your body fat percentage is around the 10% or less, and that likely is you, then your abs will be visible. More fat than that and they get hidden – it won’t matter how small or well developed your abs are. So if you want to hide them, put on some weight.

However, as you’ve noticed, it’s very normal to have abs which aren’t symmetrical. But you’ll find that your whole body is like that. It’s why your face doesn’t look the same in photographs as it does in the mirror. Next time you check yourself out in the mirror, take a look at your ears – it’s very likely one is slightly higher than the other.

Paranoid yet? Well you shouldn’t be. It’s normal. So yes it is genetics if you like, but it isn’t fixable without surgery, and I’m not entirely sure how well that would work. If you are doing a good all round program then you shouldn’t need to do any abs work because they’ll get all the exercise they need as you do the other exercises.

The other thing that you need to know about is balance. If you are going to work your abs then remember that you’ll also need to work out the muscles in the small of your back to compensate. Core body workouts should help stabilise that.
