Can anyone please help me to get 6 pack abs!?
Hello, I want to have a ripped 6 pack abs and muscle’s before summer which is in 2-3 months. My workout routine is this:
Monday and friday: Weightlifting
-Bench press 8×3
-Incline bench press 10×2
-Curls 10×2
-Preacher curl 5×2
-Pulley 10×2
-Butterfly 10×2
-Pushups 50
-Ab exercises.
Wednesday and saturday: Weightlift
-Bench press 8×3
-Squats 10×10
-Calf raises 30×2
-Pulley 10×2
-Butterfly 10×2
-Pushups 50
-Ab exercise
I really want a 6 pack before the summer. I am a guy, I am 15 years old, my height is 5,8, body fat %- between 20-25%. My weight is about 170 (I am not all fat, i started weightlifting almost a year ago. So i have some muscle) I take whey’s protein shake after every workout. I drink lots of water, and I eat 1-2 fruits per day. I jog sometimes, maybe 2 times per week or sometimes i dont, plus I play basketball 4 times per week at home, only free throws. I need some other cardio workouts, please suggest any. So can anyone help me out to get to my goal to get a 6 pack? If I should do any other exercises in my routine, just tell me. I will put them in. I workout at home, so I dont have many equipments. I have a barbell bar and a exercise ball and that’s it. I really want 6 pack, so please help. Best answer 10 points. I appreciate the help. You have the weight lifting down (although too much emphasis on the arms, try Starting Strength or Bill Starr 5×5) but to get a six pack, the most importang thing is CARDIO along with weights. If you do cardio a couple of days a week (3 days should be fine). Swim, Jump Rope, or Run. Since you already have the muscle you have to lose fat and Cardio will do this. Also start a diet to increase metabolism. Eat more, 5 meals a day, and eat healthy, fruits, veggies, meat rice. If you do this, your body fat will drop. Once it gets to 10% you should see your abs. make sure you get your bodyfat percent down. That’s crucial to seeing your abs. But remember, six pack is 1. Dieting 2. giving them rest 3. exercise.
Don’t hit the abs everyday or you wont see much of any results because they need to heal like every other muscle you work.
