Can Ab benches/ workouts help you lose weight?
I work out two times a week at a gym with my soccer team, doing cardio, sprints, weight liting etc. but on my off days (the other 5 days lol) i would like to workout by myself becuase i need to lose about 30 pounds. If i buy one of those ab crunch lounge things do you think it could help?? If not what should i do. I want to buy some kind of equipment, not too expensive!, to help me at home! HELP PLEASE.

Considering the amount of physical activity that you already do, the answer is most likely no.
Clean up your diet, here are some tips:
1) No calorie containing beverages
Consume more fibre and lower glycemic carbohydrates
2) 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight MINIMUM
3) No meal without protein
4) Eat 4 – 6 meals per day
5) ALWAYS eat breakfast
6) Consume around 3 liters of water per day
7) Last meal of the day should have no carbohydrates
9) High GI carbs only at breakfast and after workout
do NOT do ab work only, you must do at least 2x the amount of lower back work and spinal erector work too, the other half of your core. doing just crunches will give you postural issues
i wouldn’t waste ur money on one of those ab things, abs are part of your core muscles and they get worked out during your other exercises but if you are trying to lose weight you should go extra cardio.. run as much as u can and what eat is also a big factor, a lady in my office worked out a decent amount but wasn’t eating rite and it wasn’t till she changed her diet that she started losing noticeable weight
no, only a diet can help you lose weight.
