my friends taking hydroxycut to get high and i cant find any information on the net about it?
Ok my friend doesn’t really look into the side affects and health risks’ of what she takes to get high and im kinda concerned so im trying to figure out them so i can tell her.Im pretty open minded about psyconautics and responsible drug use. ive only done pot ex and various legal substances occasionally.But something about taking hydroxycut is unsettling to me.Can someone give me some information on this?
I dont think you can get high on hydrocut. All it does is speed up your heart rate to help boost your metabolism and make you lose weight.

Yeah I’d be worried about my friends if they were taking a drug known for being recalled and associated with death and health side affects.
Basically to skip all the jargon hydroxycut and similar weight loss products are essentially synthetic amphetamines – stumlants to the central nervous system. They increase metabolism which burns fat and increases energy. Taken as it should be taken hydroxycut isn’t going to really produce much of a “high” which means she’s taking more than she should or she’s crushing and snorting it to get in her system faster.
Whether you’re snorting cyrstal meth, doing butt loads of cocaine or are wigg’n out on PCP the end results of abusing stimulants are generally the same – risk of damaging the mucus lining of the nose, damage to the heart and other internal organs, organ failure including cardiac arrest. I know hydroxycut is “legal”. But legal doesn’t mean safe. 2 years ago I thought it’d be fun to take some caffiene pills – over the counter stuff from a gas station. I over dosed on caffeine and nearly died. Drugs like hydroxycut can just as easily be dangerous if misused.
