is it safe to take xenical (orlistat) to lose weight if im also taking birth control pills?
im into birth control pills for about a year. and i notice that i gained a lot of weight. i think its the pill that gives me so much appetite. i always eat even if im not hungry. unlike when im not taking it. so i would like to take xenical too. but im afraid coz i dont know if it is ok to take both. or maybe i should choose between the two. please someone help me. i really wanna slim down.
it’s ok to take both..just be prepared with diarrhea.
I have heard of weight gain associated with birth control pills. Maybe you should switch your form of birth control. It’s best to talk to your doctor about this.
You should really not take any other drugs without consulting your doctor to see if it will react- it only takes a second to call up and ask
Be very aware that taking xenical can be counterproductive with other medications. Your birth control will NOT be as productive while taking it. It says it right in the info provided by the company. You should pick between the two or have a back up for contraceptives. Good luck!
