Plain White Rice Healthy For Breakfast?
I know rice may have alot of calories in it,
but i was wondering is it healthy to have it for breakfast? Like a cup of steamed white rice with some eggs?
Im a full time student, and i may run out of things for breakfast, i eat this for breakfast at time.. will it ruin a 1800 calorie diet?
THANKS!

There is a diet approach called the Big Breakfast.
The idea is to eat a high carb breakfast, so that during the day you will have the energy that you need. If you eat a low carb breakfast you will not have enough energy and be hungry.
So you move the carbs and calories to the morning but cut down on the carbs for lunch and dinner….easy and if it works for you good luck.
White rice is never “healthy”. It’s been processed and stripped of most of the nutritional value. Always eat whole grains, including rice.
No, its not nutritous at all, and contains over 40 carbs per 1/2 cup cooked rice.
go with oatmeal its healthy tasty nutritous
or brown rice is a great idea as well. it still has all the bran and fiber. unlike white rice which has had all of that good stuff washed off of it.
but dont get me wrong i eat white rice all the time, and in large amounts almost every week. but just cause i do it doesnt make it healthy
White Rice has absolutely no nutritional value…I would buy some whole brown rice and cook it up and have this Nutrient Rich rice with your eggs.
It’s a lot heathier than that crap most people eat out of a box. Absolutely!
