i just started the south beach diet about 4 days ago. ive not lost any weight yet?

ive not eaten any bread,rice,pasta, etc but i think ive accidentally consumed a little bit of sugar? basically im wondering why i havent lost a pound after being on the diet for 4 days? The book says i should be loosing 8-14lbs in the first 2 weeks and im getting to the end of my first week and havent lost a single pound?
