If it’s ALL fat:
60 * 3500 = 210,000 calories
August is less then five months –> roughly 150 days:
1400 excess calories must be burnt throughout the day.
500.
Whoops, answer one is correct. 1400.
It’s not all about burning calories, if you’d like a diet plan where people are losing 9 pounds every 11 days click here: http://www.squidoo.com/howtoloseweightfast1
It depends on how active you are in your everyday activities, not including exercise.
You’re burning calories by walking around the grocery store, playing w/ kids, cleaning up those, taking a shower… etc… you need to calculate how many calories your burning with all your daily activities & make up the difference with cardio & resistance training.
To find out, visit http://www.mypyramid.gov . Register & you can keep track of your weight loss, food intake, and physical activity. =)
The key to weight loss is burning more calories in a day then you consume. But just because you’re on a 1800 calorie diet, doesn’t mean you’re eating healthy. Be sure you eating plenty of healthy foods… fruits, veggies… etc. Cut back on fats & sugars.

Why most diets focus on eliminating around 500 calories per day from your diet.
Use more calories than you take in and you lose weight. Eat more calories than you use and you gain weight. Eat and burn around the same amount each day and your weight should remain stable. The relationship between calorie intake is known as the energy equation.
Many variables can affect this equation, and it doesn’t factor in water weight that is lost or gained. Generally, though, if you knock off a portion of calories per day from what you usually eat, and you exercise to burn off a few extra calories above and beyond what your body normally does, as those caloric deficits add up over time, you will lose weight. http://www.gordoniihoodia.net
