If you are eating a certain amount of calories a day does the type of calories make a difference?
I am on a 13-1400 calorie diet and usually try to eat pretty healthy. If I eat ice cream though or something else like chocolate, would those calories stay with me even if I kept my calorie count under 1400 just by eating less of other stuff? I’m not talking about a splurge day once a week because I know that’s not bad, I just mean would the type of calories make a big difference?

How many calories do i need a day to lose weight safetly.?
I am getting so confused. I am 5’5 161lbs. I workout at the gym 3 times a week, I usually eat around 1000 calories a day. I have a bowl of cereal for breakfast. a 90 caorie ceral bar for a snack. For lunch i have half a turkey sandwhich or soup, I have a cup of pineapples for a snack, and whatever i chose for dinner. Am i eating enough.

How am I supposed to eat 2000 calories each day?
My teacher told me that 2000 calories is the minimum that a person should have each day. I know I should have more because I’m a big guy.
I’ve just recently started eating healthy and I really can’t eat that much. I would’ve found it easy 2 weeks ago, but now that I’ve cut junk food out, I just can’t do it. I have to stuff myself full, and it’s my parents’ food, so I feel guilty for costing them money (I’m 16).
Any advice?

Is it bad to eat before going to bed even if you are on a set amount of calories per day?
I’m doing a bit of dieting, eating 1500 calories per day and exercising. I find that I get quite hungry at night, and I find it near impossible to fall asleep while hungry. But does it really matter when I eat as long as I am absolutely sure of exactly what I’m eating and how many calories I’m taking in per day?

How many pounds will I lose if I eat 1000-1500 calories a day?
I also burn about 300-600 calories a day running and working out. I won’t eat sweets. I’m 5’11″ and 150 pounds. I’m big boned. I’m a girl. How long will it take to lose about 15 pounds and get more toned? Thanks!

I’m a pretty active 19 year old. I take recreational dance classes for 3 hours once a week. I weigh 170 lb. and an 5’5″. I wear a size 14 and I really want to lose some weight.
