Induction lasts two weeks and people generally lose 5-15 pounds if they do not cheat. Men tend to lose more, women tend to lose less. The heavier you are the more you will lose. Since you are in the normal weight range for your height according to the BMI scale you will not lose as much as you would if you weighed 20 pounds more. I’d say for a female with your height and weight it is expected for you to lose approximately 8 pounds.
i lost 6 lbs in the first week. i’ll warn you though, that you really really need to stick with it once you start in order to consistently lose AND keep it off. I was all pumped having lost the 6 lbs and stopped after the second week, considering it a nice ‘jump start’ and nothing more, planning to continue on my own using regular diet and excercise…well…i gained the 6 lbs back in the blink of an eye. (and wasnt even being ‘bad’, i was working out and eating healthy). my advice: just go with a regular routine diet where you watch your caloric intake, quicker and more effective in the long run!!
